SMART kapp Brings the Dry-Erase Board to the 21st Century

SMART kapp

If you walk into just about any office building today, you’ll find office equipment that looks exactly like what you would have found there 20 years ago. That’s why companies are now trying to ‘disrupt’ these office machines and workspaces.

If you want a look at the future of the dry-erase board, look no further than SMART kapp, which lets you write, draw and capture ideas — and lets employees working remotely follow along in real time on their computer or mobile device. SMART kapp also lets you save the work as images, convert them to PDFs, then send to anyone, anywhere, instantly.

The secret behind SMART kapp is its companion app. Available as a free download on iOS and Android (and coming soon to Windows Phone), the app helps you pair your device with the board after a scan of the board’s QR code or a tap of its NFC tag. Syncing the device then activates live web-sharing for up to five users, and also grants access to the snapshot library, PDF and JPEG save & share and Evernote.

Not technically inclined? Don’t worry! Installing SMART kapp is as easy as hanging a dry erase board and plugging it into a standard outlet.

SMART kapp, featuring a 42″ tempered glass surface, is available now for $899. Later this year, a larger size board will be available as well. For more information visit www.smartkapp.com or follow SMART kapp on Twitter.
