Nexpaq Widgets Makes Smart Phones Smarter

by Digital Dan Dubno

The Euraka Park Marketplace is a hive of excitement as small entrepreneurs bring their way-out ideas of gadgets of the future to CES 2016. It’s there I found a small company “started by three Germans in Hong Kong” with an innovative idea: what if your smartphone could be placed in a modular case? Nexpaq, which was launched several months ago on Kickstarter, allows you to add new functions to your phone  by clicking in a modular chip. Want a breathalyzer, more battery power, a more robust speaker? Snap in the modules. Currently on pre-order for the  iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Galaxy S5, S6, S6 Edge, Note 4, Note 4 Edge and more, the Nexpaq comes in white or black with a nice selection of modules.  Temperature readings, pollution measurement, night vision camera, blood-glucose meters and more. They are designing even more sensor module chips that just clip into the phone case. They are claiming Nexpaq will be available at the end of January 2016.
